(ADAMS) – Gas prices are up for the second day in a row. The AAA national average for regular is up a tenth of a cent to nearly $3.41 a gallon.
The travel group is also predicting 53.4 million Americans will hit the road and skies in the week to come. That’s an increase of 13-percent over 2020. AAA says that more than 48 million of those folks will be traveling on the road.
Gas prices are still slightly lower than a week ago but higher than this time last month. Prices are lowest in Oklahoma, where the statewide average is just over $3.96 a gallon. On the opposite end, drivers in California are shelling out the most per gallon at $4.70.
