INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Taylor Heinicke led a game-winning drive as the Washington Commanders beat the Indianapolis Colts 17-16 at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Heinicke threw a 33-yard pass to Terry McLaurin to get Washington to the one-yard line with under a minute left in regulation and then scored the game-winning touchdown on a quarterback sneak the very next play.
Sam Ehlinger had 201 passing yards in his first career start.
The Colts are 3-4-and-1 after losing their last two contests.
